Flying Dishes
The Brief
We had a call from a friend that was desperate to put his skills as a chef to use during the national lock down. His idea was to provide top notch family favourites delivered for an affordable price. He wanted to have a site where people could order food from the comfort of their own homes and to promote his services via social media.
What We Did
Firstly we came up with a brand, logo and secured the web address and social media accounts.
We then spent two days on the phone to several ordering solution providers to find one that was right for this project but in the end decided to go with WooCommerce.
Based the site on the WordPress CMS so the client would be able to update the site themselves and payment through PayPal as this had to be done in less than two days!
As traditional ways of marketing were closed to our client we were totally reliant on social media reach. We established facebook and instagram accounts and advertised heavily to get the word out to the local area.
The site has now closed for business.
